NRB “Diaspora Knowledge Network” Database
A critical objective of NRB Voice is the development of a database of non-resident Bangladeshis globally.
To contribute your personal and professional details to the database and become a member of the “Diaspora Knowledge Network” (DKN), please email Rashedur Rahman at rashed@bei-bd.org.
The objectives of the DKN are to:
- Help the non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) to source and identify the skills and expertise they need from the network;
- Facilitate online communications with other NRBs globally; Submit proposals / issues to which other NRBs can contribute and assist, depending on their level of skills and interest;
- Highlight the work of successful NRBs on a monthly basis from the network and provide a short profile on the Diaspora website about such persons; and
- Leverage the network by sharing consultancy projects and other issues in Bangladesh that require expert advice and guidance which can be received from the experts who are members of the network.
Information in the database will be used only to fulfil the objectives of the project and will be available to members of the network exclusively.
